Karina: A visit to Brook's College and the Children's Hospital nearby. We were given a grand tour of the pediatrics floor. They call the procedure room "the theatre", a code name used in order not to scare the children. Bernie Bear is a tool they use to explain procedures to the children. The stuffed animal has zippers that unlock stuffed animal organs and bones...so cool. They use biodegradable materials, such as cardboard, for their emesis basins and bed pans. They have a compressor machine to dispose of biodegradable supplies.
